Specialized Trainings
Our therapists receive formal trainings in order to best serve our youth and families. Our staff are trained in Play therapy, Trauma and LGBTQ issues.
Our team is specially trained to meet the needs of our youngest consumers through formal Play Therapy trainings. The Play Therapy trainings are facilitated by a Registered Play Therapist. In addition to formal trainings, our Play Therapy team also receive ongoing Play-Therapy specific supervision.
Our staff are trained to understand how to work WITH traumatized populations. They receive trainings to help them develop a sophisticated understanding of trauma, how it affects the brain and how those changes can influence behavior.
Offering specialized services including Play Therapy, LGBTQ issues and Trauma-Sensitive Counseling
We are dedicated to serving the needs of our LGBTQ youth. The Bryson Institute in collaboration with the Attic have formally trained our staff to be able to meet the unique mental health needs of this underserved population.
